About the event

Yorùbáizm is hosting a Frejon tasting afternoon where we'll be sharing plates and exploring the link between Yorùbá culture and the Afro-Brazilian heritage.


What is Frejon?

Frejon derives from the dish Feijão de Coco is a traditional West African dish with historical roots linking Brazil and West Africa, especially Benin and Nigeria. It is typically prepared and eaten on Good Friday during the Easter period. 


What to Expect:

  • Taste authentic Frejon and some delicious pairings

  • Share a plate and stories with fellow attendees
